We learned the letter Hh today for hog and hat. We also reviewed the letters one at a time and learned to sign the letter Hh. Similar to a Gg but with two fingers. The kids brought some very good ideas for Hh - Addy and Karson brought a horse, Sam brought a hula hoop, Reese brought Hocus Pocus and Max brought a halloween bag with a hot dog, hamburger, and a hot pepper. Great ideas!! We did the Pledge of Allegiance and also sang "If You're Happy and You Know It." We started our Thanksgiving theme by reciting a couple poems about turkeys:
Five little turkeys flew up in a tree
The first one said "there's a man I see."
The second one said "He's coming this way."
The third one said "I'ts Thanksgiving Day.
The fourth one said "What's he going to do?"
The fifth one said "He's coming after you!"
Chop went the axe before they flew away.
They all were on the table on Thanksgiving day!
Then we made Turkey Hats for Hh that the kids could take home. They also colored their weekly pictures for their folders. Next week we will learn the letter Ii so bring those Ii things!!!
