Spring will be here by and by
Then you'll be a butterfly!

Bb Week Sam
This week we learned the letter Bb and how to sign it. We also learned that Bb is for bear and ball. The kids had some great ideas for Bb! Reese brought a bucket and her blanket, Addy brought a basketball and her horse named Bonacceli. Karson wore a blue baseball shirt and Sam brought his blanket and a book that we read called, God Loves The Jungle Animals. We reviewed our letters again and did our Pledge of Allegiance. The kids also wanted to sing our song for Bb - Baby Bumblebee (which they love)...
I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee, won't my mommy be so proud of me, I'm bringing home a baby bumblebee, OUCH, he stung me!
I'm squishing up my baby bumblebee, won't my mommy be so proud of me, I'm squishing up my baby bumblebee, YUCK, I'm all dirty!
I'm wiping off my bumblebee, won't my mommy be so proud of me, I'm wiping off my baby bumblebee, OH NO, I'm all dirty! Mommy is gonna be mad at me!
Next week is letter Cc so bring those things that start with Cc!!!

Welcome! Aa Week
This week we learned the letter Aa for alligator and apple. This year we will be learning sign language for each letter and learned to sign the letter Aa. Please ask them to do this for you! They will bring home a folder with each letter and how to sign it at the end of the year. Sam brought an airplane, Addy and Reese brought an apple, and Karson brought an alligator to share at circle time! We did the poem about apples:
Way up high in the apple tree, two little apples smiled at me, I shook that tree as hard as I could, Down came the apples and MMMMM they were good!
We also did a FAVORITE of the kids' - Five little monkeys with the alligator. Ask your child to do that one and I bet they will :)
The kids sang the alphabet song and went through each letter by sight. We did the Pledge of Allegiance and we also read a special book that Addison brought - "Follow the Moon."
After circle time we made our Apple craft to take home. Next week we will learn the letter Bb so bring something that starts with Bb!!! See you next week!
