Ww Week

We had to have circle time on Tuesday again because of a conflict in schedule. We reviewed our letters again as usual and learned our new letter Ww and words that start with Ww such as walrus and watermelon. Addy brought Wiley the Wolf, Caedon brought a wolverine, Grayden showed us water in the bottom of his Flippin Frogs and Konner brought Wall E to watch!!! Good ideas! We sang "Oh Where oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone" and our alphabet song. We also did our Pledge as always. We then made a whale with Ww letters in between for our craft. Next week we will be doing our annual Easter Egg hunt so we will not learn a letter. We will continue after Spring Break then on April 15th. Tax Day :) See you next week.

Vv Week and St. Patrick's Day

We did circle time on Tuesday this week because of a conflict in Cindy's schedule. Although the kids didn't bring anything for Vv we still thought of words beginning with Vv such as vaccuum and vampire. We also reviewed our letters as usual and sang the alphabet song. We did our Pledge of Allegiance and also sang the Leprechaun song for St. Patrick's Day. We discussed the St. Patrick's Day and each child got a black pot for the leprechaun to fill while they sleep. All the kids were attentive and are looking forward to their special treat today. We made a St. Patrick's Day craft and also a vegetable craft with many Vv words. Next week is Ww week so bring those Ww things. We will have circle time on the regular day - Wednesday and we apologize for any inconvenience. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Uu Week

This week is Uu week and we reviewed our alphabet again. The kids are doing great and we appreciate this review time, it works well. Brenda worked on numbers with the kids by making gumball machines with numbered gumballs. We learned our new letter Uu and words that start with Uu such as unicorn and umbrella. Konner and Karson wore uniforms for the letter Uu and Presley and Addison brought unicorns for show and tell. Good ideas! We then made some cute little umbrella crafts also with Uu words inside them to take home. We talked about St. Patrick's Day and sang a song to go with it...

Then we celebrated Brenda's birthday!! Thank you so much Briella for the pudding to share and we also had cookies to celebrate!!! A big thank to all who brought gifts for Brenda today!!!!! We appreciate you all!!!! And Happy Birthday to the best babysitter in the world!!!

Tt Week

We learned Tt and words that start with Tt such as teddy bear and tiger. We reviewed each letter and the kids are doing great with them...getting better each week! We sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "Tiny Tim" song about a turtle. We also had to have everyone take a turn at holding the flag for the Pledge. Everyone knows the Pledge of Allegiance! We made little turtles with pull throughs of pictures of Tt words... toothbrush, telephone, tent, tie, tape, table, tire, and top. Brenda also shared that we will be having tator tots for lunch today. Presley and Addy brought cool little John Deere tractors with remote controls. Caedon brought a truck, Konner brought a transformer and Karson brought two tennis shoes. Good ideas!! After circle time we had Max's second birthday. Cute Blues Clues cupcakes!! Thanks Max and Happy Birthday! Next week is Uu week so bring things that start with Uu!!!
